Call Me Bae is comdey series following the life of billionaire heiress turned middle class hustler, Bella, Bae, played by Aanaya Pandey.

The young heiress, unhappy in her marriage has an affair with her trainer. Caught in the act by her fiance and the media Bae is shunned from her family and forced to live a middle class life utilising her street-smart skills to face the world from a different perspective.

Friendship Goals

The series highlights the value of true friendship and the possibilities to always make more. Bae's outgowing and cheerful nature assists her in making many friends with the people she meets. Through Bae's actions it can be seen that even a small kind word can make a persons day, and put you in someones goodbooks.

On the contrary the series also shows how some friendships can fall appart and be reborn. Bella's friends from her heiress life refuse to help her once her name is surrownded by scandal. For anyone who experiences this action, it can feel utterly heartbreaking. As shameful and sorrowful the situation may feel, the series shows us that it is not the end of the world. People and friendship are vital for a rich life, however enjoying and thriving in life is not dependent on any person other than yourself. Others will have their opinions and priorities that may be the same or different from your own. In these situations we should take inspiration from Bae and her mantra...

"I'm Bae, I'm here to slay, eat, love and pray, seize the day."

Confidence and Opinion

There may be few who are as expressive and confident as Bae. Despite facing several personal and career changing issues. Bae's style and confidence was always on point. Bae voiced her opinions on the events happening around her, sharing them on her instagram. She used the platform as way to share her thoughts to people out of the room, to a wider audience.

Bae's confidence in herself and her voice enabled her to improve society. She used her voice as medium for others to share there stories through the #metoo movement. She inspired those around her to be a confident and important voice in the room that should be heard. While everything in Bae's life didn't always go to plan her outfit and style always managed to shine as she expressed herself with confidence.

To take away from Bae's behavious is her selfworth and confidence in herself. Bae is an extremely inspiring character as despite being confident she never undermined anyone based on their personality, or opinion.

Honesty

Through the series a subtle and constant reminder has been shown to just be honest with yourself and those around you and causious enough to not get taken advantage of. If Bae had been honest with Agaastya, her marriage may not have collapsed, if Satyajit had been honsetly and mindfully recieving his intel his show may not have collapsed, if Mukul had been honest in his campaign in his method to recieve votes, he may have won the election.

Being honest can solve problems before they happen, but being too honest can result in too many opinions to cloud your own, as seen through the celebrities degraded on Satyajit's show. Overall honesty will lead to the best outcome, as seen through Mitali's relationship with her fiance.
